Fizikly Fit Kidz provides children the opportunity to build confidence and faith in their abilities as they succeed physically. We enhance youth awareness of health and fitness and give all young athletes the opportunity for a positive, character-building experience.
Age-appropriate classes are designed and led by our certified coaching staff. Each class emphasizes physical development and gross motor skills such as running, skipping, throwing, and jumping, as well as pull-ups, sit-ups, push-ups, and squats. These are fundamental movements, useful in every day life—and its all disguised as fun. Kidz become stronger, more coordinated, and better conditioned while playing games and laughing!
FFK’s Strength and Conditioning program is specifically designed to introduce youth athletes to the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. The Olympic lifts, the snatch and the clean and jerk, are compound movements that train neural pathways that are not used in the average American’s sedentary lifestyle. This aids in coordination, as well as strength, power output, and agility. Lifters show an increase in self-esteem and self-confidence, resulting in a better athlete and student. Athletes learning and mastering Olympic lifts will benefit through gains in strength, flexibility, balance, and injury reduction. These skills are applicable to all sports, and help build better athletes.
Fizikly Fit Kidz is the brainchild of Dawn Williams. A mom, self-proclaimed science geek, and fitness enthusiast, Coach Dawn specializes in training and coaching youth athletes, successfully coaching young athletes to the Sunshine State Games, AAU Junior Olympics, the National Youth Weightlifting Championship, and the National Junior Weightlifting Championship.
